For our toy store minintry to be successful, many hands are needed. Please consider helping in at least one of these ways:
1. Hub Person - Knows how the system works; makes sure the system is working correctly. Assists team members working with the toy store to know and follow the toy store procedures. These persons work the entire term of the toy store.
2. Greeter - Greets and meets people at entrance, takes them to desk clerk. This team member works the day or days of the toy store. This team member signs up for a specific time to work with the Greeter Coordinator.
3. Desk Clerk - Verifies information is correct and how much client can spend. This team member works the day or days of the toy store and signs up for a specific time to work with the Desk Clerk Coordinator.
4. Shoppers' Aid - These team members work in teams of two. Two (2) One Shoppers' Aides keeps up with money being spent by client and the Second Aide holds bag for toys.
5. Cashier - Receives money. This team member receives the payment of the toy store client and works with the Cashier Coordinator to keep an accurate count of funds received. The monies are deposited each day by the Brunswick Baptist Association Financial Secretary, and enough monies are held in reserve to begin the next day. This team member works during the hours of operation.
6. Counselor - Witness and record decisions made. These team members work with the Counselor Coordinator to witness to the clients, record, and report any decision to the Counselor Coordinator. This team member works during the Toy Store hours of operation.
7. Referral Person - Refers person to local church. This team member will refer the client so desiring to the local Brunswick Baptist Church in closest physical proximity to the client. This team member works during the Toy Store hours of operation.
8. Runner - This person will take the shopper to the counselor and introduce the counselee to the counselor. It is necessary for the runner stay with the shopper once that person has been to the cashier until the counselor is ready to share the gospel. After the counselor has finished, the runner will take the shopper, with the toys, to the parking lot. You may also have an opportunity to meet others that have been waiting on the shopper.
9. Table Filler - Restock the table when toys have been bought. This team member helps in restocking the tables and other displays throughout the day in the Toy Store. They will bring items from the storage area to the sales area. This team member will work specific hours coordinated by the Runners Coordinator during the Toy Store hours of operation.
10. Pricing Clerk - When donated toys come in from donors, (to be bought by client) and the Toy Store buyers, these clerks price them. This team member works with the Pricing Clerk Coordinator before the Toy Store opens. As soon as Toys are received, the pricing clerks can begin their work.
11. Registrar/Scheduler - Available to answer telephone at specific hours of the day to register and schedule the referred clients at the Brunswick Baptist Resource Center. This team member works with the Registrar/Scheduler Coordinator before the Toy Store opens.
12. Toy Store Buyer - Usually comprised of women that know how to buy toys for a certain age child - from birth to age 13. The team member works with the Buyers Coordinator to purchase toys from the funds donated to the Toy Store.
13. Others - as needed. Persons and groups are needed to pray for the Toy Store Ministry, refurbish bikes, provide meals for the Toy Store team members, and other activities as the Lord leads during the toy store.
